Romper Stomper Roo
This is Roo. She's a little, tiny puppy who weighs all of seven pounds. Someone threw her out of their car window in Los Angeles and abandoned her. Friends of Averie and Ryan picked her up, then went about the business of finding her a home. That home ended up being with Averie and Ryan. In a roundabout way, that makes me a Tutu ("Grandma" in Hawaiian).
Last week, Averie asked if I could take over Roo duty for a week. Ryan was going away on a business trip, and Averie's boss would be back in the office, so neither could take little Roo to work as they would normally do. Of course, I jumped on the chance. I absolutely forgot how much work a puppy could be. I was positively knackered when the week ended. But I must say, it was a lot of cuddles and fun. I can't even imagine someone doing what they did to this little trinket. I'm glad Averie and Ryan's friends rescued her, and I'm glad I get to be Roo's Tutu.
